Kenny Christy Sixth in Season Lid Lifter at PRP

(May 31, 2021) Kenny Christy and his #c7 team finally lifted the lid to their 2021 racing season on Sunday, May 30 at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio. Battling through some first night blues and handling issues throughout the evening, Kenny posted the eighth quickest lap overall in Super Late Model qualifying prior to placing third in his stacked heat race. After starting the $2,000 to win headliner at PRP from the outside of the third row, Kenny was able to hang on to finish right where he started... in the sixth position behind only race winner Brandon Fouts, Shannon Thornsberry, Mike Hildebrand, Nick Bocook, and Kirk Phillips.
